An uneventful wednesday

These past couple of days have been relatively uneventful, sorry to disappoint.

Sunday Callie and I ventured out to find one of the other churches that I had been told about, after about a 45 minute tube ride and ending up in the middle of nowhere we decided to forgo church that day and opted for some breakfast at a cafe in Covent Gardens! It was wonderful I had eggs Benedict! The service was slow but such is the case at ever other restaurant we've been too lately. The costumer service in Europe just doesn't compare to that of America. Then we went home changed took a little siesta and headed for Charring Cross Road which is lined with what is left of some of the best independently owned bookshops, it was AMAZING! I loved just going in and browsing and sitting down and reading bits of books, wonderfully relaxing.

Monday I had class from 1030 to 5, after which I headed home and then me and Callie went to go try this burger place around the corner, which was actually pretty good, but nothing compares to an American Angus burger.

Tuesday I had work from 10 to 530, there I spent the whole day listening to a question and answer session of a dinner-debate they recently hosted and let me tell you, that is easier said than done. The guest of honor was from Nigeria, so he had an English Nigerian accent and then the guests at the dinner who were asking the questions where from all over. Needless to say I left with a headache and totally exhausted. But I hopped on the tube and met Callie and two other flat mates for dinner and a play. We ate at this little Italian place then went to see Avenue Q it was hysterical but a little bit much at some points. But as a flat we have decided that Tuesday will be theater night, so I think next week we might try to see Les Mis! The tickets here are so cheap compared to the states even with the exchange rate factored in, so when in Rome!

Tomorrow I have work again but hopefully it will go quickly and then this weekend Callie and I are taking a trip to Oxford for the day to see Alastair (a friend from home who goes to Oxford) Then maybe do Notting Hill on Sunday.

Ill keep you posted!

P.S. Best news someone found Callie's wallet with everything intact!! Travelers Checks, Drivers License, Passport!! God is so faithful!!!
